Objectives:
1. To promote holistic care for older people by general practitioners.
2. To enable participants to recognize and manage common
medical and psychiatric problems in old age.
3. To enhance understanding the current organization of social
and medical services for older people.
Target participants: General
Practitioner
Program of Study: This one-year
part time programme will cover 44 weeks - 68 lectures, 6 clinical
tutorials,
4 case studies 4 case discussion sessions. The lectures and
case discussion sessions will be held on Saturday afternoons
(2:00 to 5:15 PM). The clinical tutorials will be held in
different elderly care settings on Sundays (1:00 to 5:30PM).
